Hailey's pet fish Spirit died yesterday. She is heartbroken. Last night, she and Nathan dug a grave for him in the backyard and had a little funeral service.This morning I asked her what some of her favorite things were about Spirit.
1. She loved to play Hide-And-Seek and Peek-A-Boo with him.
2. His rainbow colors.
3. When he would flare his cheeks. Sometimes they would flare their cheeks together.
4. When he would spit out his food.
5. Sometimes, if two pieces of food were stuck together, he would break them apart with his mouth.
So sorry Hailey. Hope you are having a better day today! Love, Grandma
ReplyDeletePoor Hailey. Spirit lived a long time though. He almost made it a whole year! I don't think I ever kept a fish alive longer than a week!
