About two months ago I had this crazy idea. If we were to get pregnant right then we could have a baby before the end of the year. Since M was born in January this new baby would essentially be free (at least as far as the delivery is concerned) because I met my annual deductible and out of pocket payments with M. I mean, heck, we're going to have more kids anyway, why not have one of them be free? I told N about my idea and he was on board...for a day. Then we both decided it was a dumb idea. M wouldn't even be a year old when the baby was born. Talk about chaos! Add in my PPD and well, that is just asking for trouble. Well, the month passed and I just couldn't get the idea out of my head. I figured we had one more month to try because technically, I would deliver the baby a month early. I talked to N again about it and we decided if it happened it happened and if not no big deal. Fast forward about a month and yep, you guessed it...I'm pregnant! We know it is going to be interesting (to say the least), but we really feel like this is what Heavenly Father wants for our family. So, come mid-December we should be welcoming Baby Peanut to our family.
Side note to my family: If our offer on the house is accepted (which we aren't too hopeful about considering there are so many other offers on it) we will be moving to a new ward where come blessing day we will be starting at 8:00am--again!

ReplyDeleteCongratulations! Happy Mother's Day! How fun! Very economical way to grow a family! (plus, you'll have 2 extra tax deductions next year.) I'm here to help if you need anything. I know exactly what it's like to be pregnant with a baby and several other little ones in the house. I don't mind watching them so you can nap or something. By the way...what's this about a new ward? You aren't trying to move are you?
ReplyDeleteI am happy for you! Now you can share the insanity of having 4 kids at home all day!! AHHH!! If you need help let me know. :)
