It is so much fun having an only child again! H is at school all day and M is napping most of the morning so it is just me, N and K.
Today, N and I were talking about political things (read: frustrations, concerns, worries) back in our room and K was playing with his cars in the front room. K said something about his robot being broken so I went out to help him only to find him drinking one of H's juice boxes. I wasn't too happy with him and he said, "I just like juice, mom." Then, after a second he said, "And pizza," and went off to fix his robot (which, by the way, is a pile of pillows, blankets and toys on the love seat). About 1/2 hour later N came out to the front room to use the computer and he asked what I was upset about. I told him and N said, "Oh. I thought there was flour all over or something."
Anyway, N asked K if he had one of H's juice boxes and K said, "Yes. I just like juice." N said, "Well, next time ask mom or me and we'll get you a drink."
K's response? "Water is not juice, dad."
